'A WHOLE LOT OF FIN FOR JUST A LITTLE MORE CASH' |
|
| Strengths: |
Comfortable, and effortless finning!
Durable design.
One of the few split fins that you can frog kick with!
Very sexy looking fin. |
| Weaknesses: |
It costs a little more than the average fin, but you get much more in return.
It is a little heavy for travellers. |

I had my eye on these fins every since they were released. The reviews seemed decent, but we all know that the reviews are sometimes biased! (free fin for good review). I was reluctant to buy a pair, but to my joyful suprise I got a pair as a gift. It has been a dream ever since.
This is one of the few split fins that you can frog kick with. They are just a little more stiff than the older Twin Jet fins, but a little lighter. The design gives great return for effort and the old breathing rate has gone down as a result.
Traditionally I had always used paddle fins. I had tried and bought split fins before (Biofin, Twin Speed, Zoom, and the Pro Force) but it seemed that I didn't have near as much control, acceleration and precision with split fins as opposed to paddle fins...spin on a dime so-to-speak. They were all comfortable and easy to fin, but it would take 3-4 more kicks to get to full speed in them. That was until I got these fins. They have the control of a paddle fin with the effort of a split fin. Great job ScubaPro.
So if you can afford them, they are well worth the extra cost! |
