'ALMOST, BUT STILL NOT QUITE THE PERFECT COMPUTER'
Strengths: Easy to read - even in 'full' mode; three gases each of which can be linked to pressure transmitters; compass; software upgrade downloads; user-replaceable batteries
Weaknesses: No trimix (yet); infrared instead of Bluetooth; difficult to read post-dive (or is that just my failing eyes?)
Overall: This is the best of some eight computers of different makes that I've owned. The algorythm seems very good and can be taylored to personal coservatism preferences. I love the compass and I think the heart rate monitor is a good idea even if everyone else takes the **** of wearing the transmitter. I really like the multiple gas pressure integration, but I do find it quite hard to read the logbook following the dive. I have downoaded their version of the deep stop software but haven't yet used it - that might satisfy some of the negativ reviewers - and I understand they might write a trimix version for download at some time. In summary, a more-than-competent computer with some useful features, but add trimix and replace the infrared with Bluetooth and it would be just about perfect. Oh, and knock £300 off the price...
