The Atomic Aquatics Frameless mask is about fit, comfort and vision. The large lens and close fitting skirt work in harmony to create perhaps the widest viewing angle of any frameless mask design. The lens shape was computer designed to maximize upward, downward and side to side vision. Because an external frame is not needed, the viewable area of the lens is optimized. Squeeze to adjust buckles are tucked behind the lens for a sleek hydrodynamic design.

When I read about this new mask from Atomic I ordered it immediately as I have always been frustrated with being blinkered by my mask frame. The Atomic frameless mask has a large single lens so there's no obstruction between the eyes, and the frame is wide and clear so makes your view brighter and clearer. Great for spotting marine life, (or students floating away), out of the corner of your eye...
Additionally, the skirt is very soft and comfortable, as advertised. It really is worth the expense, (RRP approximately £55.00). The only drawback to this comfort is that any excess movement is likely to cause some leakage - for example when I laugh I normally make a break in the seal either side of my nose - but it's a minor complaint for an excellent product. |
