Since neoprene actually has millions of nitrogen bubbles to provide insulation against cold water, this suit is warmer than tropical suits made from equivalent thickness of other materials. The high level of flexibility makes the 0.5mm Steamer an extremely comfortable tropical water suit or an extra layer for under your standard suit. Stirrups and thumb loops add to the convenience of this suit.
