This is a special combination of 1st and 2nd stages that offer the best possible resistance to cold water diving. The MK17AF with the dry ambient chamber and warming fins and theS550 with the offset lever and diaphragm design will allow extreme exposure to cold water. This regulator combination will set new standards for polar expeditions and high altitude mountain lake diving.
S555 Second Stage
An air balanced high performance second stage chosen by military divers for its durability, simplicity, and reliability. This second stage is also preferred by sport divers and diving instructors that do not need external adjustment of inhalation resistance.
