One of the rarely viewed sharks, let alone photographed. The Thresher shark is a deep water shark with big black eyes and a whip like tail. The tail is used to corral fish together and then stun them so the shark can feed at its leisure. This particular shark was photographed down on the Southern end of Daedalus reef, Southern Red Sea. They are often seen around Daedalus reef particularly during the winter months. Usually a shy shark, this one got pretty curious and it was great to get a decent shot of him.
